Tapping for sustainability in activism spaces

This week a lot of my DEI consulting clients have shared that they are finding it harder and harder to keep up the energy and momentum required to do this work. They have one setback after another, and in the context of all of the backlash around DEI, they are exhausted, overwhelmed, and not sure how they can keep going.

This is actually a really common feeling, particularly in today’s DEI climate. One of the things that can contribute to this exhaustion is not giving ourselves the time and space to process these intense feelings of grief, anger, and frustration at all of the setbacks, thinking that we just have to power through in order to keep the movement going.

One of the techniques that I use as a trauma-informed tapping practitioner to help clients keep their activism work sustainable is to explicitly honor our feelings while tapping. Watch as I show you how to fit this technique into your tapping practice.
