CME Consulting Services with Jill Wener, MD

The process of applying for CME can feel overwhelming and daunting, but it doesn’t have to be.

Many doctors have knowledge and experience they want to share with live and online audiences, but they struggle with how to best get their content to the people who could most benefit from it.

Getting your content CME-accredited is a high-yield way to attract new clients and increase revenue. It not only adds a ‘seal of approval’ from the healthcare profession, but it also allows prospective clients to obtain departmental funding to pay for your program. Plus, CME-accredited programs are much easier for clients to write off as a tax deduction.

Recognizing that getting CME accreditation is a good choice for your business is one thing…
figuring out how to do it (and making the time to do it) is another.

You may be wondering:

  • Is my program accreditable?

  • Where do I apply?

  • How much will it cost, and will it be worth it financially?

  • What information do I need to fill out the application?

  • How much time will it take (and do I have enough time to make it happen)?

  • How can I make the most out of the money I spend on CME accreditation?

  • Can I accredit my course for other healthcare professions, such as nursing or pharmacy?

Jill Wener, MD has years of experience getting CME for live and online programs- both during her clinical medical career as the Director of Faculty Development for Rush Medical College and Director of Education for the Division of Hospital Medicine, and now in the entrepreneurial phase of her professional life. She currently has two CME-approved online courses: Meditation for Doctors: A Guide to the REST Technique, and Conscious Anti-Racism: Tools for Self-Discovery, Accountability, and Meaningful Change. Her work with CME consulting has been featured on the Career Rx Podcast with Dr. Marjorie Stiegler.
