Leave your personal and professional stresses behind and join Dr. Jill Wener, nationally renowned specialist in physician wellness, on a meditation retreat designed specifically for women healthcare professionals.
Jill understands firsthand the challenges of working in healthcare and the strain of constantly making life-or-death decisions, and your every need will be attended to during your stay at the luxurious all-inclusive Miraval Spa just outside of Tucson, Arizona.
Your days will be spent learning meditation (the same course Jill teaches her private clients), eating delicious organic meals, getting rejuvenating spa treatments (spa credits are included in the retreat price), relaxing by the pool, hiking, taking yoga and other fitness classes (optional), and attending lectures on how to apply ancient, yet practical, Vedic knowledge to your life as a woman in healthcare. Oh, and you’ll also have the chance to earn Category 1 CME credit in the meantime!
When: Wednesday, March 5 (arrive at spa by 4:30p) through Sunday, March 9 (departure after 12p)

To maximize safety for our whole group, we ask that everyone that attends the retreat has been fully vaccinated (including boosters) against COVID-19.

Sessions include how to practice meditation, individualized guidance on how to incorporate it into your daily life, a unique look at the science of stress and how it affects our physiology and behavior, how meditation re-wires the brain through neuroplasticity, and a discussion of the long-term benefits of meditation

Already practice meditation in this tradition?
No problem! Jill will be teaching the advanced meditation technique called ‘Rounding’ to anyone who already practices this type of meditation (Conscious Health or Vedic Meditation), at no additional cost. Other advanced techniques are also available, please contact Jill for more details.

7-9a- Morning stretch and breakfast
9-11a- Meditation Instruction (4 parts total)
11a-12p- Yoga
12-1p- Lunch
1-2:30p- Sit by pool
2:30-4p- Spa Treatment
4-5:30p- Relax, hike
5:30-6p- Meditation
6-7:30p- Lecture in Vedic knowledge as it relates to navigating today’s healthcare system
7:30p- Dinner
